Mount Rainier is an active volcano that in covered in over 35 square miles of snow and ice. It is surrounded by thick forests with breath-taking wildflower meadows. The elevation of Rainier is ranging from 1,610 to 14,410 feet ablove sea level. It has the greatest single-peak glacial system in the United States of America. The upper part of Rainier has likely been removed by explosions and landslides. It poses many dangers and economic threats to the region, and has recieved little study. If it were to erupt again, it could cause massive land slide and avalances. This could result in a large injury and death tole if there are people present.
